Don’t worry, “Mai Hoon Naa”

Don’t worry, “Mai Hoon Naa”

A unique offer to Indore city from being responsible

It is generally seen or heard that whenever a person is in distress, then someone comes to him to console and encourage him, and says, “Don’t worry, Main Hoon naa.” This all is a part of our culture, which is seen in almost each Indian.

When Indore city became a metro, when the deficits of the city grew more, when a known or unknown person died in absence of medicines, these all are such things, which have lost values in today’s hectic life. But despite all odds, if someone sits beside a needy or poor person who is ill and helps him by arranging the required medicines, then the pains of the sufferer are reduced to a great extent.

Being responsible, a social group of Indore believes in reaching and helping every needy person of society.  Representatives of the group, did intensive tour of the slum areas of the city, and arrived at the conclusion that when a poor class person is not even capable to light his “Chulha” then how can he arrange medicines for treatment of his and his family members’ diseases? Being responsible understood the grieves of such people and decided to stretch helping hands in the way “Main Hoon Naa”, a mobile medicine van, dedicated to the actual needy persons of the society. “Main Hoon Naa” will visit different slum areas of the city from Monday to Saturday, every week, and provide FREE medicines to actual needy persons.

“Main Hoon Naa” is sponsored by PR 24×7 Network Limited, the leading communication of Central India. The keys of mobile van were today handed over to Sunil Kataria, from being responsible in a simple function held at 148-B, Mahadev Totla Nagar Indore. Shri Prabal Singh Surana, the famous social worker of the city and chief guest of the ceremony, after handing over the keys, said” I have heard a lot about being responsible and activities performed by them, during recent period, but the initiation, like Main Hoon naa, is really praise worthy and I am confident that the innovative effort will set an example for others.”

The program was attended by members of Senior citizens’ Day Care Centres, and other distinguished guests.

Senior Citizens are the people of old age who belongs to the age group of 60 yrs and above. This stage of age is the old age which consists the ages nearing or surpassing the life expectancy of human being and thus the end of human life cycle. Old people often have limited regenerative abilities and are more prone to diseases and sickness other than younger adults. The study of diseases that afflict the elderly is geriatrics. The elderly also faces other social issues such as retirement, loneliness and ageism.
Old People are especially vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation which can have a serious effect on health but there are ways to come up loneliness which can be possible if the younger people like us decide to take a step in the welfare and in support of old peoples.

Many times we come to see that younger generation disobey their seniors just because they became old they do not provide any attention nor even care for them. Looking for the same the group of being responsible started a project as Adopt a Grain for the senior citizens where they are been provided with the grocery which is all about adding joy to the lives of these senior citizens.

The idea behind the distribution of grocery is to help senior citizens for fulfilling their basic needs and requirements so that they can never feel helpless and frustrated.
Mr. Atul  Malikram president of being responsible always thing on a large scale for the betterment of Senior Citizens. He reacted to his happiness and said.” I am very happy to see that all the veterans coming here have shown curiosity in learning new subjects of the modern age, and we at day care centre try to provide maximum facilities to them. miim initiates a first of own kind coaching through SKYPE to educate aspirants of IPM-IIM Indore

  • IIM Indore ranks first in India’s top 50 B schools
  • Brings glory to Indore & state by acquiring first position in the BT-Top Business Schools ranking

Above was a heart pleasing news for people of Indore and state as the dream destination of children doing 12th standard, IIM Indore was chosen as the best business school of the country.

It is estimated that India has more than 4500 Business Schools. Experts say that this number is expected to go higher in the coming years as Indian economy is growing rapidly and there is urgent need for capable leaders to guide companies to success. Good business schools are pivotal today as their role in developing good business leaders for tomorrow is very important.

Now IIM Indore is the leading Business School of the country as it surprised all the participating schools in the prestigious BT-Top Business Schools ranking held recently and captured first rank. More than 125 Business Schools sent entries to mark their place in this vast survey but IIM Indore emerged as the best business school of the country.

IIM Indore is the last destination for a student doing 12th class because once he clears the entrance test of the institution, he need not to worry about his future, as the institution takes responsibilities to make him business leader of tomorrow. It is true that passing entrance test is not easy as institution owing to its prestige earned during past years receives applications from the students in bulk quantity. This reveals the success of IIM Indore and matter of pride for miim, as the later is making students capable to compete the most competitive entrance test through its unique correspondence course. Miim was successful to provide maximum selections to IPM-IIM Indore for three consecutive years 2012 & 2014.

It is true that a student doing 12th class and aiming to secure 95% + marks has to devote him/her fully to studies only. Simultaneously each focuses at such professional or business institutions which can make future sure. As IIM Indore emerged as the biggest solution provider to such students, every one prepares him/her self to get admission there. But two simultaneous studies are critical. Hence they need either a tutor or an institution for coaching them for IIM Indore in such a way that their routine studies are not disturbed.

Atul Malikram, Chief mentor miim says “We have been asked by many as to what was the necessity of   starting correspondence course when regular courses are choice of the students. For such queries we submit our comparison as under:

Regular courses                                    Correspondence course of miim

  • Could be done in specific time No restriction
  • Costly                                             Economical
  • Devised traditionally           Devised keeping in view liking and needs of Students

As such if a student does our correspondence course, his regular course will not be disturbed and he/she can concentrate upon both the courses, simultaneously.”

miim from this year initiated coaching through SKYPE facility also. Students doing our correspondence courses can approach faculty of the institution for inter actions. This facilitates them to solve their problems from homes and need not to travel for consultation. In other words, miim made you available faculty at your door step.

global gold demand

According to the latest Gold Demand Trends report from the World Gold Council, covering

the period Julyto September 2014,global demand for gold was down just 2% year on year to

929 tonnes (t).

Overall jewellery demand softened slightly down 4% to 534t, when compared with an

exceptional quarter in 2013.Taking a slightly longer term view, Q3 2014 jewellery demand

was marginally stronger than the quarterly average of 527.6t. Year todate volumes continue

to extend the broad uptrend from the low seen in 2009.

Looking behind this overall number, inIndia, jewellery demandsaw a 60% year on year

increase to 183t in Q3 2014, the second highest Q3 on record for the country. While the

increase is partly reflective of the weakness in Q3 in India last year -when the government

introduced import curbs and raised import duties – it also demonstrates the resilience of the

country’s appetite for gold jewellery. Improved consumer confidence in both the domestic

economy and the new government added to the positive sentiment, with strong levels of

purchasingbeing seen in the build up to Diwali.

In China jewellerydemand for Q3 2014 was down 39% yearonyear, but was broadly in line

with both Q3 2012 and the 5-year quarterly average (of 148.2t and 154.9t respectively).

Whilst in the US and UK, jewellery demand was strong, buoyed by ongoing economic

recoveries. US jewellery demand grew 4% yearonyear to 34t, the highest Q3 since 2009. UK

jewellery demand had its fifth consecutive quarter of year on year growth.

Investment demand, a combination of bars and coins and exchange-traded funds (ETF),

was up 6% to 204t. However, investment in bars and coins was down 21% to 246t. This

reflects an adjustment towards more normal levels of demand after a surge of unprecedented

consumer demand took place last year. ETF outflows stood at 84t for the year to date

compared to 699t in the same period last year. Third quarter demand for bars and coinswas

very close to the 10-year quarterly average of 240.6t. It’s worth noting that before the

financial crisis of 2008, the European bar and coin market was virtually non-existent.

Marcus Grubb, Managing Director of Investment Strategy at the World Gold Council

said:

“This quarter the market continued to find its feet after an exceptional 2013, with China

catching its breath and buying in the build up to Diwali driving Indian jewellery purchases.

The figures for India and China this quarterreinforce the need tounderstandthe factors which

underpinnedan exceptionalQ3 last year.In 2013, India was impactedby import curbs and

increased import dutiesimposed by the previous government, whereasexceptional buying in

Marc’s brotherAlex Marquez clinches Moto3 World Championship; become first sibling pair to win Grand Prix world titles

Valencia, November 10, 2014: En route his 2014 World Championship title, Marc Marquez broken another record in Valencia by winning his thirteenth race of the season – the most ever in the premier class, to become the most successful rider over the course of a season.MotoGP is the premier motorcycle racing World Championship; an eighteen-race series visiting thirteen countries, four continents and with pan-global television coverage. World’s most skilled riders line a grid armed with cutting-edge motorcycle technology with prototype machinery fielded by leading manufacturers including Honda.

The Spanish phenomenon broke the 17-year old record set by his Repsol Honda compatriot Mick Doohan 17 years ago; who had won 12 races in 500cc World Championship, in 1997.

Teammate Dani Pedrosa took third place – continuing his impressive record at the Valencia track with six podium finishes in nine starts in MotoGP – and together the Spanish duo have clinched the Team Championship resulting in back-to-back Triple Crowns, clinching rider, constructor and team titles
There was more cheer for the Marques household when earlier in the dayhis younger brother Alex Marquez (EstrellaGalicia 0,0 Honda NSF250RW) won the Moto3 World Championship. The pair now has the unique distinction of being the first siblings to win Grand Prix world titles since the dawn of motorcycle Grand Prix racing in 1949.

Marc Marquez, Repsol Honda Team – Race Winner: “I am so pleased, especially for my brother! It is a very happy day, even more than in Motegi when I was crowned Champion. Today Alex took the Moto3 title that he deserved, and to cap it off I was able to close the year with a victory here in Valencia. I congratulate my brother for his season, because both him and Honda have done a great job this year! Now it’s time to celebrate in the way that the occasion deserves, because it will be difficult to repeat another season like this. During today’s race I was reminded of Aragon, because it was raining and there was a moment in which I considered whether or not to change the bike. In the end we stayed calm and today we were successful with our strategy. It was an ordeal which I enjoyed but suffered a bit at times! Thanks to the whole team for all their efforts this season!”

The 2014 season is now officially over but the 2015 season began in Valencia today with a three day test. Marc and his team will take a break and start their testing programme on Tuesday, with Marc’s brother – 2014 Moto3 World Champion Alex – enjoying some laps on the Factory RC213V as a gift from Honda.

  • Siemens wins the “Global Efficiency Medal for Motors” for the Indian region in the First Ever Global Efficiency Medal Competition for Super-Efficient Electric Motors.
  • The award was conferred by SEAD (Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment), an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial
  • This award will enhance buyers’ ability to differentiate and choose among products on the basis of their energy efficiency.

Siemens India won the Super-Efficient Equipment Appliance Deployment (SEAD) Global Efficiency Medal for its 1LA2 series of Low Voltage IE3 induction motors, verified by testing of 3.7kW and 11kW models. The Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) initiative is an international collaboration of 16 countries and an initiative under the Clean Energy Ministerial, a global forum to share best practices and promote policies and programs that encourage and facilitate the transition to a clean energy economy across the world.

The Swedish Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications hosted the awards ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland. International dignitaries, including the Ambassador for India to Switzerland and the Honorary Consul of Australia, presented the awards at a ceremony on Tuesday, 7th of October 2014.

“Improving the energy efficiency of electric motors is critical for the continued development of India’s economy,”said the Ambassador for India in Switzerland, His Excellency Mr. M.K. Lokesh, who presented the two awards to Siemens Limited. “The SEAD Awards help the market recognize the most efficient products currently available and encourage the development of new technologies.”

Siemens’ 1LA2 series of Low Voltage IE3 induction motors manufactured in India won in the IEC Induction Motor category for the India region as the most efficient motors thereby providing the fastest return on investments to the users. The SEAD Global Efficiency Medal helps in identifying the world’s most efficient products and enhances buyers’ ability to differentiate and choose among products on the basis of their energy efficiency.

Bhaskar Mandal, Country Division Lead, Process Industries and Drives, Siemens India, said, “Every Unit of power saved in India is an investment towards sustaining its manufacturing competitiveness and economic growth. Siemens is at the forefront in developing and introducing highly energy-efficient motors for the Indian market and is also propagating its adoption among end users through education. The ‘SEAD Global Efficiency Medal for Motors’ is of great value not just to us but to our customers as well, who strongly believe in the cause of energy conservation. This recognition is also an endorsement of our investments in local Research & Development backed by world class testing facilities in India.”

The induction motor is by far the most important type of electric motor found today, and has become the focus of regulators around the world. Medium-sized motors are of particular concern because they consume a lot of energy. According to a 2011 International Energy Agency study, mid-sized motors ranging in size from 0.75 kW (1 hp) to 375 kW (500 hp) accounted for more than two-thirds of the electricity consumed by all motors worldwide in 2010. They consumed 4,800 terawatt-hours of electricity, more than the combined electricity consumption of Australia, India andthe United States. That is why even small improvements in efficiency of electric motor can have a huge impact on the economy and environment.

While historically SEAD has been awarding ‘Global Efficiency’ medals to various categories such as televisions, lightings etc., it introduced the category of ‘Motors’ – IEC Induction Motors, NEMA Induction Motors, New Technology motors less than 75 Kw and New Technology motors less than 100 Kw HP – only in 2014.
